Students around the world are struggling with academic stress which is leading to depression, anxiety, and other health affecting illnesses. We want to focus on how our health, in general, should not be compromised because of academics. Essentially, our health should be prioritized over all else. Some major questions that we want to tackle: what draws the line between having a balanced academic/health life and too much stress from our academics and when is enough truly enough?
First generation Americans and Immigrant Parents alike struggle living in a land that may not mirror "their traditional" values from which they grew up. Much of the disconnect between these parents and their children is the confusion stemming from the possible difference in culture and what is taught. In this webinar, we will be hosting subtopics around topic of culture clash where we bring in first generation American students discuss the differences in their home grown values.
